What a fun night! Two shows with Greg Poppleton and the Bakelite Broadcasters. The first at Dubbo Golf Club and then onto Club Dubbo with music till midnight. Radio16 recorded the event. Might have some audio from the show ready for you by October depending on permissions.

Sunday Carnival Victoria Room. Sunday 17th August
It’s always exciting to sing the songs of the 1920s and 1930s at the Sunday Carnival in the Victoria Room.

It was a duo Greg Poppleton and the Bakelite Broadcasters. I was accompanied by Tony Gardner at the grand piano. In between songs he let loose on a couple of instrumental rags and boogies. We hit the ’20s hard between spectacular displays by dancers, ribbon aerialists and astounding magic acts.

It’s the 1920s at Slide on Oxford St when the Gin Mill Social comes to town.
