Wake, 19th September
We had the great honour to be invited to play for the wake of the wonderful and much missed, Merle Newbould, at the Hunters Hill Club.

1920s Concert, 21st September
1920s Great Gatsby Dance Orchestra, The Lounge Bar Lotharios, played for dancers and fans of 1920s hotcha at Glenaeon on Sunday 21 September to a capacity crowd.

Who are The Lounge Bar Lotharios?

The Lounge Bar Lotharios is an 11-piece Roaring ’20s Dance Orchestra playing original 1920s arrangements of 1920s Hot Jazz and Dance Music. Musical director is ARIA nominee, Geoff Power. Greg Poppleton sings in authentic 1920s dance band style.

What a fun night! Two shows with Greg Poppleton and the Bakelite Broadcasters. The first at Dubbo Golf Club and then onto Club Dubbo with music till midnight. Radio16 recorded the first show. You can now hear the Audio online on YouTube.
