Photos From The 2015 Great Art Deco Ball, Carrington Hotel, Katoomba

For the third year running, it was a great thrill and honour for Greg Poppleton and the Bakelite Broadcasters to be invited back to play the Carrington Hotel’s annual Great Art Deco Ball. Photos…

Greg Poppleton is Australia’s only absolutely authentic 1920s singer. And the Bakelite Broadcasters are all world-touring classic jazz, Roaring ’20s musicians…

In the opinion of some hotel guests we are the best band ever to play at The Carrington. That’s high praise, indeed.

The Great Art Deco Ball is the peak event in the annual Blue Mountains 1920s Festival. This year’s Great Art Deco Ball was again sold out. Many guests came especially to see and dance to red hot 1920s dance band Greg Poppleton and the Bakelite Broadcasters cut loose in their natural habitat…
