Greg Poppleton and the Bakelite Broadcasters played at the Gin Mill Social, Bondi Pavilion and Penrith RSL. The Lounge Bar Lotharios 1920s Orchestra backed touring US singer Marilyn Keller with Greg Poppleton MC at The Concourse.

Come and discover the story of Scott Joplin and his music.
From the Maple Leaf Club in Sedalia to St Louis and the 1904 World’s Fair and then on to New York and his ultimate dream of producing his own opera, Treemonisha.
The story will be told by Greg Poppleton as John Stark, Joplin’s publisher and long-time friend. Musical Director: Craig Mitten
Scott Joplin’s music will be played by nine of Australia’s finest ragtime musicians –  Stephen Grant (piano) Craig Mitten (trumpet) Phil Harper (clarinet) Geoff Power (trombone) Marcus Holden (violin) Sandra Mitten (flute, piccolo) Chris King (piano) Ed Bastion (string bass) and Tanya Christensen (vocals).
