Lana and Florian’s Beautiful 1920s Great Gatsby Wedding in the City

Greg Poppleton and the Bakelite Broadcasters had the great pleasure of playing for Lana and Florian’s wedding at Doltone House opposite Hyde Park in the Sydney CBD.

Made up of some of Australia’s finest, world-touring and multi-recorded jazz musicians, Greg Poppleton and the Bakelite Broadcasters is lead by authentic 1920s – 1930s singer Greg Poppleton.

The band entertained for background and dancing with music from the 1920s, fitting into the overall 1920s / Great Gatsby theme for Lana and Florian’s wedding reception.

Lana and Florian chose La Vie En Rose (Louis Armstrong) for the band to play as the bridal dance.

Here are some quick snaps I took for you of Australia’s only authentic 1920s-30s singer and band as well as the 1920s decorated room. Enjoy. And as I say, they’re quick snaps!
