29 November Phantom Dancer – German Musical Movie (1944) Es Lebe Die Liebe

Your Tuesday 29 Nov Phantom Dancer goes for a whole two hours on radio and online.

It’s a non-stop mix of swing and jazz from live 1920s-60s radio.

Hear it ONLINE NOW at 2ser.com

The presenter is Greg Poppleton.

He’s been doing the show since 1985. Back then swing was a dirty word.

Greg is an authentic 1920s-1930s style singer and band leader.

He just released a new album of songs from the 1920s and 1930s. It’s called Back In Your Own Backyard.

It’s on Bandcamp.

I’ve been told it’s very good.

Today’s Phantom Dancer has a set of swing from live 1937 radio.

There’s also a set of bop singers from 1940s-50s radio.

There are eight sets in total.

Names, bands, song titles and the originating radio station and date are listed in the play list below.

The play list is after The Phantom Dancer Video of the Week.

Here is The Phantom Dancer Video of the Week. Music by the amazing Peter Kreuder. Enjoy!

Make sure you come back to this blog, Greg Poppleton’s Radio Lounge, every Tuesday, for the newest Phantom Dancer play list and Video of the Week!

Thank you.
