Who are The Lounge Bar Lotharios?

The Lounge Bar Lotharios is an 11-piece Roaring ’20s Dance Orchestra playing original 1920s arrangements of 1920s Hot Jazz and Dance Music. Musical director is ARIA nominee, Geoff Power. Greg Poppleton sings in authentic 1920s dance band style.

What a fun night! Two shows with Greg Poppleton and the Bakelite Broadcasters. The first at Dubbo Golf Club and then onto Club Dubbo with music till midnight. Radio16 recorded the first show. You can now hear the Audio online on YouTube.

Last Friday, Sydney’s exciting, and only authentic 1920s Dance Orchestra, The Lounge Bar Lotharios, played for the 2013 Blue Mountains Lithgow Oberon Tourism Awards at Scenic World in the Blue Mountains.

What a hit with the crowd as dancers swirled and Charlestoned on the dance floor!
